Key points for installation of compound air-conditioning unit

1. The combined air-conditioning unit can be installed on a concrete platform or a base made of section steel. The height from the ground should be such that the condensate can be discharged smoothly. Drains (pipes) and floor drains should be installed to remove condensed water and empty the bottom of the air conditioner to store water.

2. Attention should be paid to the on-site assembly of the air conditioning unit: the sealing of the four corners of the unit, the bottom plate, and the inspection door; the quality of the sealing material.

3. Before installation, check whether the drainage slope of the drip pan at the lower part of the cooling section and spray section is sufficient, and whether the water seal of the drainage point is reliable.

4. Check whether the thickness of the insulation layer of the unit meets the requirements, whether the insulation material is evenly laid, and whether there is a cold bridge at the connection of each functional section to prevent condensation on the shell.

5. Check whether the heat preservation material of the unit meets the fire protection requirements. The heat preservation material should be non-flammable or non-combustible material, and it should have the approval certificate of the fire control department.

6. After the unit is installed, check whether the wind speed distribution on the section is even. Whether there is water in the part behind the cooling coil or spray section. This phenomenon should be avoided as much as possible.
